We met when we were 19, heading into the summer following our freshman year of college. We were attending a party at the house of Blake's former classmate and Caroline was a last-minute invite (Thanks Allie!!). We spent that summer getting to know each other's interests - Caroline learned how to throw a frisbee and Blake learned a show tune or two. After that summer, we knew we didn't want to stop learning from one another. We spent the next few years with some distance between us with Blake in Colorado and Caroline in Rhode Island. Fortunately, we worked out a way to spend six months together in Amsterdam and our time there became a new opportunity to learn more about each other and our relationship while exploring cities in Europe. Since then, we’ve learned how to live together, how to parent our pup Hugo together, and how to grow an adult relationship out of our teenage connection. We are so looking forward to making it official next year and celebrating with all of you!
